Current Scholarly Projects

Teacher Quality Grant, $200,000 for May 1, 2009, through May 31, 2011. This competitive peer-review project is a collaborative partnership with the Victoria Independent School District, under the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Teachers from other school districts and private schools also are participants. The grant’s primary focus is the enhancement of the teacher participants’ content knowledge and instructional skills in teaching science in middle school.

Region III Texas Regional Science Collaborative, $160,000 from May 1, 2010, through May 31, 2011. Dr. Foley has assisted Region III with the development of the grant.
