Graduate Fellowships

The School of Education & Human Development Graduate Fellowship is designed for university purposes of recruitment, retention, and assisting departmental needs. Students benefit by close association with professors, financial assistance and heightened application of their fields.

Graduate Fellowships are chosen on a competitive basis. Students apply and are approved by the Dean.

All graduate fellows are expected to be responsible and successful students who can make a positive contribution to the School of Education & Human Development. They must also be admitted to a graduate program. Graduate fellows are required to devote 20 hours per week each semester to their assignments. A graduate fellow must maintain a 3.0 GPA and must be enrolled in 9 credit hours each semester.

The School of Education & Human Development Graduate Fellowship covers the cost of tuition and fees. The term of the appointment is on a semester-by-semester basis. Reappointment of a graduate fellowship depends upon (1) departmental needs, (2) satisfactory academic progress, and (3) evaluation of performance by their assigned faculty.
