Accessing eSmart
Instructions:: On Campus or
Off Campus
The following information contains
step-by-step instructions for accessing
eSmart.
If you are accessing
eSmart
from an
on-campus
computer for the first time:
The following steps need to be
completed one time only as an initial set up for your campus
computer. This process will allow you to bypass the
eSmart
login from your campus computer. If you change computers,
you will need to repeat these steps.

Open Internet Explorer

From your menu bar at the top, select the
following:

Tools
-
Internet Options
-
Security Tab
-
Local Intranet
-
Sites
-
Advanced (NOTE: Verify that all boxes indicating “Include…” are checked.)
- In the box labeled “Add this website to the zone,” enter
https://esmart.uhv.edu
- Select “Add”
- Select “OK” until all windows for this process are closed
You should now be able to access
https://esmart.uhv.edu
through your internet browser.
If you are accessing
eSmart
from an
off-campus
computer:
-Visit
https://esmart.uhv.edu
-At the login prompt, enter the
following:
Username:
UHV\your UHV username
Password:
your
password
Note: Your UHV username and password
should be the same username and password you use to login to
the UHV network on a daily basis.
After entering the information above,
you should gain access to your personal
eSmart account.
