 About Counseling, Health and Wellness

The Counseling, Health and Wellness staff understands that psychological adjustment is connected to the health of the whole person-including the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well being of the individual. Our goal is to empower diverse students to be capable and competent adults in managing the multiple, often competing, life situations they will face. We help them build skills to positively affect personal change and enhance quality of life. In doing so, we hope students will be able to take advantage of their educational experience more fully.

Services are free and confidential to students enrolled at any of the UHV campuses.
