The UHV Center for Nonprofit Leadership embraces an interdisciplinary
approach designed to provide a broad-based perspective on nonprofit
leadership and community service. The Center and the UHV School of Arts
and Sciences offer specialized undergraduate and graduate academic
courses.
Nonprofit Leadership programs include:
-
Undergraduate Minor (15 credits required) See School of Arts and
Sciences, Academic Minor Requirements.
-
Graduate MAIS Concentrations (36 credits required) See School of Arts
and Sciences, Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree
requirements.
All UHV students who are interested in a career in the nonprofit sector or
who want to make a difference through community service are encouraged to
pursue a minor or graduate degree in nonprofit leadership. Students
interested in any of the programs should consult with the Center’s manager
or the nonprofit leadership faculty advisor for application and advising
procedures. The program is designed in a flexible manner that allows
students from all degreed programs to pursue an undergraduate minor.
