Return to Job Boards for All Majors
www.h1visajobs.com contains databases of employers that have sponsored international students. This site also contains tips and strategies to help the international student succeed in finding employment. UHV subscribes to two databases: Business: BUSI-H1B and Computer Science: CS-H1B. From the H1Visajobs homepage click on the "H-1B Online Databases" located on the top left navigation bar. Contact Career Services for UserId and Password.
InternationalStudent.com is a resource center that provides scholarships, insurance, loans, university admission, ESL and test prep services. It also offers a student job search and online career center for the international student.
Transitions Abroad offers extensive information to students interested in studying or working overseas. Career Services also subscribes to Transitions Abroad, a bimonthly magazine of practical information for independent-minded travelers who want to experience the thrills and lifelong rewards of immersion abroad. Copies can be viewed in the Career Services office (room 133, UW).
