UHV makes donation to food bank


Staff Council''s Summer Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent

The event was part of the Staff Councilís Summer Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent. The two-week drive raised 2,490 pounds of food and water donated by UHV employees and community members. That amount can provide an average family with 1,660 meals. Cash donations made during the drive also will supplement another 144 meals.
