New freshman dreams of becoming police officer

For Andy Llanes, a senior at Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, there is only one career choice.


"I''m really into criminal justice," he said. "I want to be a police officer because there''s always something different every day."


Llanes decided to join the University of Houston-Victoriaís FIRST 200 as a way of starting a new chapter in his life off right.


"Since I''m just graduating from high school, itís a new life for me."
