Tunde Oniya, a senior at George Bush High School in Richmond, is a young man with a plan.
He hopes to join the FIRST 200 at the University of Houston-Victoria and earn his bachelor’s degree in nursing so he’ll have job security while he starts his business empire.
“I plan to be an entrepreneur and own several businesses,” he said. Being an entrepreneur will allow him to create a better environment and improve the community wherever he chooses to call home.
He also plans to minor in business as he pioneers new ground in the first freshman class.
“I’m glad to be a part of it,” he said. “I feel UHV is definitely the place where I want to be.”
Oniya has a track record of leadership with many student organizations and plans to take a leadership role in the FIRST 200.
