The University of Houston-Victoria was recently recognized with four ADDY® Awards at the Victoria Advertising Federation annual banquet this February. Employees at UHV were recognized along with two students who also entered the competition.
The VAF ADDY® Awards are presented to a variety of local entrants for creative excellence in the art of advertising. A number of awards are given in each category and determined by judges based on their opinions of the quality of work in that category.
“I’m pleased to see that UHV was recognized for its advertising efforts,” said UHV President Dr. Tim Hudson. “We have some very talented and creative employees, and I’m proud of their efforts to make UHV shine.”
UHV received a SILVER ADDY® for its annual report “Learn Local. Go Global.” Employees credited for the publication are Markeda Wade, Sarah Gardner, and Darin Kazmir along with Kevin Jordan Photography and Price Video Productions.
A BRONZE ADDY® was awarded for UHV’s online newsletter “NewsWire.” Markeda Wade, Marci Wallace and Eric Ramirez are recognized for the award.
