UHV student government members kick off Giving Tree campaign

Eliseo Olvera, a member of the University of Houston-Victoria Student Government Association, decorates the Giving Tree in the lobby of the UHV University Center. The 10th Annual Giving Tree donation drive, which is organized by the association each year, benefits Adopt-A-Pet, Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, HOSTS (Help One Student to Succeed), Mid-Coast Family Services and the Old Landmark Committee of Victoria. Community members are encouraged to donate unwrapped gifts to the Giving Tree until Dec. 14. Learn more information and get a list of needs.
