The University of Houston-Victoria School of Business Administration has decided to take “Off the Clock” on the road. Community members are invited to join UHV students, alumni, faculty and staff at Ragin’ Cajun at 16100 Kensington in Sugar Land on Thursday, December 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. for the event.
Off the Clock is an opportunity for UHV graduates to network with other alumni, as well as a chance for students to make future business contacts and for community members to learn more about UHV in an informal setting. The December event will feature the UHV School of Business Administration, and representatives will be on hand to answer questions and offer information about their numerous academic programs offered in the Sugar Land area and online, particularly the Global MBA and a new master’s degree in economic development and entrepreneurship.
“We’re excited to host an event like this in Sugar Land,” said SoBA Dean Charles Bullock. “By offering degree programs at UHSSL, we’ve expanded our service area to meet the educational needs of the greater Houston region.”
UHV hosts Off the Clock bi-monthly. The event is free and open to the public and features complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. For more information contact Sarah May at (361) 570-4363, or to RSVP, call (361) 570-4347.
