Major Departmental Tasks:
The Office of Student Life and Services is a department of the Division of Student Affairs.

- Student Discipline
- Student Life and Services
- Planning and executing Student Activities
- Crisis Referral
- Maintaining and updating Student Handbook
- Overseeing Student Organizations, including Student Government Association
- Planning of commencement exercises
- Planning and execution of Orientation programming
Tasks Considered Critical:
- Notifying students of interruption of classes
- Notifying students of interruption of campus activities
Tasks Considered Important: (by end of first week)
- Ongoing information to students on status of classes and planned events.
- Continuation of Discipline procedures
Tasks Considered Less Important: (Resumption up to 30 days)
- Payment of vouchers
- Check vending, copier, coffee machines in student lounges
- Answering correspondence
Minimal Emergency Personnel: (On-site within 2-3 business days)
- Coordinator
- Director
Minimal Emergency Equipment Supply Needs:
- Phone or Cell phones
- Two PC’s w/network and internet access (e-mail and admin) and printer
- Copier
- Standard Office Supplies
- Minimal work area for two people
- 2-way radio
General Impact Statement (Emergency event causing a business interruption up to 30 days)
In general the impact to this department would be to keep open communication with all students. Keeping students informed of the status of campus closures, cancellation of classes and planned events.
