General Impact Statement:

The impact of the business interruption in this department could have a critical effect on the university’s communication with the public. In the event of an emergency, it is critical for the department to have timely and accurate communication to the media about the status of the university. Marketing initiatives are generally less critical, but could rise in importance depending upon the timing of the emergency.
