This table is a guide to help you plan your program and assist in registration. Courses listed in each block may be taken in any order; the blocks themselves should be completed in order with minimal overlap.
Courses to the right of the lower-division blocks may be taken at any time, in any order, during the freshman and sophomore years. Please refer to course descriptions for detailed prerequisite information.

| Concentration courses may be taken concurrently with block 1, 2, and 3 courses provided prerequisites have been fulfilled.
Below are schedule recommendations by concentration. |
| Accounting |
ACCT 2301 and ACCT 2302 are prerequisites for most ACCT courses,. You
should plan to take ACCT 3303 as early as possibly in your enrollment. The
accounting concentration is 21 credit hours.
If you plan to sit for the CPA exam, talk to your advisor about additional requirements. |
| Finance | FINC 3304 is the prerequisite for all FINC concentration courses. You should plan to take BUSI 3303 and FINC 3304 as early as possible in your enrollment. The finance concentration is 21 credit hours. You may need to take an additional free elective in order to fulfill the minimum 120 hours required for graduation. |
| General Business | MGMT 3303 and MKTG 3303 are prerequisites for some general business courses. Take MGMT 4320, MGMT 4303, MKTG 4311, and either MGMT 4316 or MKTG 4325. Choose 3 additional business courses (beyond the core requirements) from at least 2 of the following areas: ACCT, FINC, HCAD, IBUS, MGMT, or MKTG. No more than 2 of these 3 classes may be taken in any one area. |
| Healthcare Administration | MGMT 3303 is a prerequisite for some HCAD courses, so plan to take it as early as possible. Take both HCAD 4353 and 4355. For the remainder of your concentration, choose between- HCAD 4351 and HCAD 4361

- HCAD 4356
HCAD concentration courses are offered entirely online or as face-to-face/online hybrids. The HCAD concentration is 18 hours. You may need to take an additional free elective in order to fulfill the minimum 120 hours required for graduation.
If you plan to seek licensure as a Nursing Facility Administrator, talk to your advisor about additional requirements. |
| Management | MGMT 3303 and MGMT 4320 are prerequisites for most MGMT concentration courses, so take both as early as possible in your enrollment. Take MGMT 4311, MGMT 4316, and MGMT 4325 as soon as they become available after you meet prerequisites; select at least two additional electives from MGMT, and an elective from upper-division business course offerings. Concentration courses may be offered only online, and many are offered only once each year. |
| Marketing | MKTG 3303 is the prerequisite for all MKTG concentration courses. Take MKTG 4311, 4313 and 4340. Choose 3 electives from MKTG 3321, MKTG 4315, MKTG 4316, MKTG 4317, and MKTG 4325 as soon as they become available after you meet prerequisites; select an elective from upper-division business course offerings. Concentration courses may be offered only online, and most are offered a maximum of once a year. |
