Master of Science in Economic Development & Entrepreneurship Online

Unconditional admission to the program is granted based on:

  • a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university;
  • a GMAT score of 450 or above or GRE score of 900 or above (verbal and quantitative scores combined in both cases);
  • an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 hours; and
  • a TOEFL score of 550 or above (written) (international applicants only).

Conditional admission is also available for students who fall somewhat below the admissions requirements.

Students with prior graduate and professional degrees (such as M.D. or J.D.) may qualify for full admission without completing entrance examination requirements.

Under certain circumstances, MBA applicants may request a waiver for the GMAT when applying for initial admission to the MBA program, or when attempting to progress from temporary graduate admission to conditional or full admission to the MBA program. The Assistant Dean will consider GMAT waiver requests on a case-by-case basis.

Many applicants will qualify for temporary graduate admission. This status is typically granted to an applicant who holds a bachelor's degree, but has not yet completed the GMAT or satisfied GMAT waiver requirements. Temporary graduate students may take up to four courses (12 hours) prior to full or conditional admission.
