Applicants to the MBA program must hold a baccalaureate degree from a recognized university or college, and meet other admission standards as stated in the UHV catalog. Modern Academy of Maadi is authorized to review the qualifications of students and recommend students for admission. UHV is the final authority with respect to admission.

Step 1: Apply for admission.

Complete applications for admission must be received by the first day of the second month preceding the beginning of MBA classes. For example, if a student expects to enroll for a UHV course offered in the Fall semester starting in September, complete applications must be received by UHV by no later than July 1st.

Step 2: Satisfy English proficiency requirements.

Students whose first language is English or hold a baccalaureate degree from an institution where English is the language of instruction will not need to complete an English proficiency exam. For those not meeting this requirement, they may satisfy the English language requirement with a score of 550 or more on the TOEFL or in other ways as approved by UHV.

Step 3: Satisfy entrance exam requirements.

No entrance exam will be required for admission if:

  • The applicant has completed a graduate degree from an accredited college or university; or
  • The applicant has a current GRE score (less than five years old) of 900 or higher; or
  • The applicant (i) has an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, (ii) has at least two years of relevant professional and/or management/supervisory experience, (iii) writes a letter of application outlining career goals and objectives, and (iv) earns a B or better in QMS 6351 and MGT 6351.

If none of these conditions apply, students may be admitted with a valid GMAT score of 450 or higher.

Step 4: Have transcripts of all previous college, graduate, and professional coursework forwarded.
