SBDC Undergraduate Internships
The University of Houston-Victoria Small Business Development Center, in conjunction with the School of Business Administration, accepts applications each semester for paid internship positions. SBDC interns gain valuable professional experience evaluating new business opportunities, analyzing small business marketing plans, and evaluating small business financing alternatives, while applying written and verbal communication skills and working with specialized small business software.
Successful applicants must
- Be enrolled in the BBA program at UHV;
- Live in Victoria or the surrounding areas;
- Enroll in MGT 4304 while completing the internship; and
- Be prepared to work 120 hours during the course of the semester (approximately 8 hours each week in the fall and spring) in 4-hour increments (ex. 8-12 or 1-5)
