Yan Qin

Dr. Yan Qin is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the University of Houston - Victoria. She received her PhD in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2011. Dr. Qin has taught courses in Operations Management and Business Programming at the University of Florida as a doctoral student. While teaching in the Warrington College of Business Administration in 2011, she was voted Best Faculty of the Year in her department.

Dr. Qin's current research interests include blood banking logistics, emergency department overcrowding, and green supply chain. Her recent research has been published in the European Journal of Operational Research. She has also served as a reviewer for journals such as the Journal of Management Science, OR Spectrum, and the European Journal of Operational Research.
