- If you have never logged onto your “My UHV” Student account before, you must first set up your UHV student email account. Click www.uhv.edu > Current Students > Email. Your initial pin number for your UHV email account is your birth date in this format: mmddyyyy The domain is UHV\Your Student ID Number
- Using the link “MyUHV,” click “Request a new password." Your new password will be emailed to your UHV email account.
- After you have retrieved your “MyUHV” password, log on through MyUHV.
- Click on the option for “UHV Self Service.” You will be able to view the student home screen.
- Select the option “Student Center” to register for courses, view your course schedule, view grades and more. You can search for classes by school, i.e. Business Administration or by discipline, i.e. MGT. For a more tailored search, the “Advanced Search” option allows you to narrow your search based on delivery method, location and other criteria.
NOTE: Check your degree plan draft to make sure you meet all pre-requisites before registering for a course. Just because you were able to register does not mean you meet the pre-requisites. See below (*) for location of course descriptions. Repeat add/drop until all of the courses you want to add or drop are on your schedule. Complete all three steps of the registration process.
- Once you are registered for your courses, you may print your schedule.
- When you are finished registering, proceed to student financials and make a payment or select “SIGN OUT” from the top right of the page.
To view a step-by-step registration demo, visit the PeopleSoft Project page and select the “UHV Student Center Demo”. This will load a PowerPoint presentation that will walk you through retrieving your new ID number, checking your financial aid status, and registering for courses. It is highly recommended that you go through this demo if you have not already done so.
