Introduces computer hardware, software, procedures, systems, and human resources and explores their integration and application in business and other segments in society. BCIS 1305: Computer terminology, hardware, software, operating systems, and information systems relating to the business environment. The main focus of this course is on business applications of software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation graphics, and business-oriented utilization of the Internet.
ECON 2301 Principles of Economics I

Economic instability and economic growth; monetary, fiscal and related policies designed to cope with these two important problems.
ECON 2302 Principles of Economics II

Resource allocation, income distribution and international trade; monopoly, oligopoly and competition; labor unions, collective bargaining, tariff regulations and other institutions.
MATH 1324 Finite Math

Discrete probability, vectors and matrices, linear equations and linear programming.
MATH 1325 Elements of Calculus for Business

For applications in business and social sciences; curve sketching and graphical analysis; differentiation and integration of elementary functions.
Speech - Select from SPCH 1321 or SPCH 1315
 
Typically satisfied by SPCH 1321: Business and Professional Speech. Fundamentals of speech as they relate to business and professional settings. Includes interviews; informative, persuasive, and public speeches.
