(Content Authors Only)
Breeze Presenter is installed as a menu in Microsoft PowerPoint. It allows you to create narrated presentations and publish them locally or to the Breeze server.
You must have a Breeze account setup before you can download and install the Presenter plug-in. All UHV faculty and staff can request a Breeze Account to create Breeze Presentations. If you do not currently have an account, please click the Breeze Account Request link and request an account. You will be sent an email with your account and login information.
To download Breeze Presenter, click the link below and then click the "Install Macromedia Breeze Presenter" link in #1. You will be taken to a login screen where you must enter your Breeze username and password [NOTE: This is NOT the same as your UHV computer login]. The presenter download will then begin to download to your computer.
If you have any questions or problems, please contact Breeze Support.
Suggested Headset Microphones for Content Authors
We recommend that you use a headset microphone instead of a desktop microphone in order to minimize feedback noise when your microphone is on. Features for headset microphones should include noise-canceling and in-line volume and mute controls. You may purchase headset microphones online or in-store through electronics or office suppliers. Quality headset microphones can be purchased for about $20 and use the standard audio jacks. Sample brands include:
- Logitech Premium Stereo Headset (P/N 980369-0403)
[can be purchased for <$20] - Altec Lansing (AHS20)
- Plantronics (AUD60)
- Sony (DR-140UP)
You can also buy quality USB headset/microphones. They usually start around $30. Examples are
- Logitech Premium USB Headset 350
- Plantronics (DSP500)
Depending on departmental policy, faculty and staff may be able to request a headset microphone with departmental funds.
