About MyUHV IDs:
Your MyUHV ID is a seven-digit number (e.g., 1234567)
that allows UHV students to check their admissions status,
register online for courses, check financial aid status, and
pay tuition.
You'll need your seven-digit MyUHV ID to log into the
Blackboard system. Below is a list of general questions you
may have regarding MyUHV IDs. Click on the links below to see
specific information.
What if I Don't Know/Can't Remember MyUHV ID? The good news
is that you most likely already have your MyUHV ID. When first created,
MyUHV IDs are sent to students' personal e-mail accounts (usually
when a student completes the UHV application process).

Okay. I've Called UHV and
have MyUHV ID to log into Blackboard, but what Password do I Use?
The first time you log into Blackboard you will have an initial
password in the
mmddyyx! format, as follows:
- mm is your two-digit birth month
- dd is your two-digit birth day
- yy is your two-digit birth year
- x is the first character of your last
name in lowercase-letter format
- ! (exclamation point - Shift + 1 on your
keyboard)
- For example, if your birthdate is January 15, 1980, and your name is Jane
Smith, then your initial password for Blackboard is 011580s!
The
mmddyyx! initial password will expire the first time you log
into the UHV Blackboard system. Before you can see your online course(s), you will have to
create a new password and log back into the system.
UHV Blackboard passwords expire every 90 calendar days.
You can change your Blackboard password at any time by
selecting the
My Settings option +
clicking the
Change Password button under the
My Profile tab.

If I Change my Password In
Blackboard and I'm Signing in with MyUHV ID, does this Change my Password in
the Student Records System (also known as "MyUHV")?
No. The Student Records Self Service System (also known as
"MyUHV") is used to register for classes, check grades, view rosters and
UHV class schedules, etc. Blackboard is the system you use to complete online and web-based
courses. The two systems are separate and changing your password in one will
not change your password in the other.
