UHV students may complete the steps outlined below to perform a Blackboard browser check and confirm their PC, laptop, or Macintosh is compatible with the UHV Blackboard system.
  1. Run Browser Check and confirm installed version of Java is the latest version available from Sun Microsystems.
  2. Get your MyUHV ID . Your MyUHV ID (Username) for Blackboard will not be available until the first day of class.
  3. Access to Blackboard online courses will be available beginning the first day of class. Review the UHV Calendar for specific semester start dates.
  4. Reset Your Blackboard Password with Secret Question/Answer. Review the Blackboard Secret Question/Secret Answer page.
