Research and Teaching Interests:
Dr. Justin Bell’s areas of specialization for research are American philosophy and ethics. He also works in the history of philosophy and in social and political thought. His current research project revolves around developing a theory of moral imagination following the work of John Dewey and other American pragmatists. He currently teaches PHIL 1301: Introduction to Western Philosophy, PHIL 1303: Critical Thinking, and HUMA 4322: Ethics.
