Tom Williams is the chair of Humanities. He comes to UHV after teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Arkansas State University, where he edited the journal Arkansas Review for five years. He is a writer of fiction and has published short stories in over twenty different journals, and has won grants from the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Arkansas Arts Council. He is also an associate editor of American Book Review.
