THEA Quick Test
The Academic Center offers the Quick THEA Test
periodically throughout the academic year.
The dates and reporting times for the Summer 2008 semester are as
follows:
Monday, April 28, 9:00 a.m.
Monday, June 30,
9:00 a.m.
Thursday, August
7, 9:00 a.m.
A $10.00 non-refundable registration
fee (check or money order) is due at the time of registration.
Students that are retaking any part of the THEA Quick Test must
wait 30 days between test sessions per NES regulations.
Students may register via email (essec@uhv.edu),
by phone (361.570.4288), or in person at the Academic Center at
the University of Houston- Victoria. The Academic Center is
located in Suite 129 of the University West building in the new
addition. If
registering by mail or phone, a space will be held for an
examinee for seven business days. After that time, if the
aforementioned registration fee is
not received, the seat will be released to another examinee.
When registering via phone, the registration fee must be mailed
to: 3007 N. Ben Wilson, Suite 129 UW, Victoria, Texas,
77901.
On the THEA Quick Test test date, students will need to bring
- two forms of identification (one must be government issued ID
with a photo)
- a $29.00 check or money order made payable to National Evaluation
Systems (NES),
- several No.2 pencils and a good eraser
- a plain four-function non-programmable calculator with square
root and percent keys.
Unacceptable calculators may include calculator
watches, scientific or graphing calculators, pocket organizers, handheld,
laptop, or notebook computers, electronic writing pads or pen-input
devices, calculators with an alpha-numeric keyboard, calculators with
paper tape, calculators that make noise or "talk," calculators
with electrical cords, and business/financial calculators.
Room numbers are TBA. Look for posted signs the day of the exam.
