So far in module three you've learned about electronic databases, the library's catalog, and internet sources.  In addition to journals, books, and internet sources, you may be able to add some 

  • Personal Interviews
  • Phone, Fax, or Email Interview
  • Mail Surveys
  • Electronic (email or web-based) Surveys
  • Focus Groups

When considering using any alternative method of research, you should always check with your instructor.  Research such as surveys or focus groups typically requires some kind of permission, often by a human subjects committee.
