Relationship Transitional Words or Phrases
Addition Again, also, and then, besides, equally important, finally, further, furthermore, in addition, in addition to this, additionally, in addition to, in like manner, likewise, moreover, similarly, then too, too
Amplification By the way, coming back to, incidentally, parenthetically, to digress, to resume.
Cause & Effect Accordingly, as a result, consequently, hence, in short, otherwise, so, then, therefore, thus, truly.
Comparison At the same time, in like manner, in the same way, likewise, similarly.
Concession Admittedly, after all, although this may be true, but, even though, granted, granted that, I admit, I know that, naturally, now, of course, to be sure.
