| Student Referral
The Academic Center has trained writing tutors who are
available to meet with students. During these peer
tutoring sessions,
students may discuss a paper that is in progress or work on areas
that may present particular difficulties to them. These areas may
include problems with organization, development, logic, clarity or
frequent sentence errors. Students may schedule a face-to-face session
or submit documents online.
The Academic Center provides a number of instructional
handouts that may assist students with both their academic and professional
writing. Students may stop by the Center or view these handouts
online.
The Academic Center also offers EFL
resources to assist students
for whom English is a foreign language. The Center provides instructional
handouts related to common EFL concerns. Students may stop by the
Center or view these handouts online.
