Cost and Aid

Cost

Getting your bachelor's degree at UHV can save you up to $13,744 compared with other major state universities.* Texas undergraduates taking 15 credits fall and spring semesters at UHV in 2014-2015 are paying just $6,749 in tuition and fees, and their housing for the school year is only $4,686 for a double-occupancy room at Jaguar Hall.

*Savings are calculated on the cost of in-state tuition and fees for 15 semester credit hours each fall and spring over four years at UT-Austin, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Tuition and fees are based on 2013-2014 figures.

Aid

To help students cover the cost of their higher education, UHV offers numerous financial aid opportunities and assistance accessing that aid. The aid you receive will depend on your individual financial situation. As an incoming freshmen, you may qualify for the UHV Guarantee. In addition, UHV will help guide you through various loan options to help you manage any remaining costs associated with obtaining your degree. UHV offers an affordable alternative to helping you get a bachelor’s degree. For more information about paying for college, Contact Us, and we’ll be happy to help you.

THECB Net Price Calculator

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has developed a Net Price Calculator to provide prospective students with a rough approximation of the cost of attendance and financial aid eligibility estimate for all the public and participating private universities in the state of Texas. The university cost of attendance and award estimates are based on a first-time, full-time freshman population. The calculator should not be used as the primary means of selecting a school.
