UHV’s Freshman Orientation is well underway! After hosting more than 125 students at the first three Orientation sessions for new students and their parents in July, UHV administration, faculty, staff, and current students are more excited than ever about the incoming class. The freshmen spent the day learning what it means to be a Jaguar including learning aboutUHV academic programs, student activities, residence life, campus safety, UHV athletics, and more. The students enjoyed getting acquainted with their classmates, and their eagerness to move in to Jaguar Hall and get started at UHV was infectious! We were thrilled to welcome future Jaguars and their parents to campus and we all look forward to meeting the rest of the freshman class at the orientation sessions throughout August.
Orientation sessions are getting bigger and bigger….with 53 new freshmen attending on July 12th, and 56 on July 29th. Additional orientation sessions will be held on campus at UHV on August 9, August 12 and August 16. Orientation will be packed full of everything students need to know about making a successful transition from high school into university life.
