Mission Statement:
The University of Houston-Victoria Parent Program promotes communication and understanding between the university and the parents of its students. We are a primary resource for addressing parental concerns; providing parents with vital information about university policies, services, and activities; and offering parents opportunities to be more involved with the university. Through the designated parent liaison, the parent website and newsletter, and scheduled events especially for parents, we forge stronger links between parents and the university.
Goals:
- Provide opportunities to create partnerships between parents and the university
- Provide opportunities for parents to create support groups within a positive community
- Improve communication between parents and the university concerning policies, regulations, services and activities
