Native of Vienna, Austria, I received my first Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University in Community Health, December 2009, and second Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, May 2012. I have been working within higher education since 2007 in various capacities. After the completion of my Master of Science degree in May 2013 from Lamar University, I took a job with the University of Houston-Victoria to continue my work in higher education as the Coordinator of Student Development and Parent Programs. My role at the university consists of student development, student life, and parent programming in order to enhance the campus atmosphere and increase opportunities for student growth and student success both during and after college. As your parent liaison, I would like to welcome you to the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguar Parents’ website. UHV is committed to helping you and your student by providing information about campus life and newsworthy events, as well as parent resources. These resources will help you learn more about yourself and your student, and connect with other UHV parents and families.
I understand that ending a student to college is a major life event, not only for students, but for the parents as well. As you know, your child is beginning a lifelong journey of professional development and your roles as parent, family, and mentor are very important. And as a part of the Jaguar family, we want to be your partner in supporting your student at UHV and helping your child reach his or her career and personal aspirations. Please know that I am here to assist you in any way I can. My passion is higher education. My drive is student development. My joy is student success.
