Directors' Message

Jeffrey Di Leo - Dean of Arts and Sciences

Welcome to the MS in Publishing homepage. We are proud to be the directors of this vibrant community of writers, publishers, critics, and designers and hope that you'll join us next semester. Our diverse and celebrated faculty members share the common commitment to expertise in their research and excellence in their teaching. Students benefit from small classes in which individuals engage in meaningful dialogues within a global nexus of ideas and information.

Kyle Schlesinger - Assoc. Professor - Arts and Sciences

The charming city of Victoria offers a wide variety of cultural experiences that will enrich the mind and inspire the senses. Readings, conferences, lectures, music, architecture, dance, and an especially rich local culinary culture are among the many attributes of Victoria's vibrant community.

Theory is never more than an extension of practice, and innovative thinking thrives only when it is met with tradition. We all know that the future of publishing is changing rapidly: our objective is to prepare students to shape that change. We hope that you will take this opportunity to become part of the future of literacy, thought, and publishing.

If we can answer any questions, please feel free to write to us directly.
