About Staff Email Services
Mail.uhv.edu is the email server for staff. On campus, the supported email application is Outlook.
Storage space allocated per user is 1 gigabyte (GB). When a user's amount of space used exceeds 900MB, a warning message is issued. When the user's amount of used space exceeds 1 GBMB, outgoing messages can not be sent until the user frees some space by deleting or archiving old messages.
The maximum size of a single email message, sending or receiving, is 10MB.
Virus scanning software on the server blocks attachments with certain file types, such as (but not limited to) .exe, .bat, and .scr.
