Question
I have tried to login to the library with my username and date of birth as my password, but it doesn’t work.
Answer
The Library uses your student account for authentication. New student accounts are created with pre-expired passwords. This means you must change your password from your date of birth to a new password before your account can be used to access the library. Changing your password activates your account. To change your password remotely via the web, you must login to the Student Email Server. See Logging In via the Web for instructions on how to login and change your password.
Please note also that passwords have a lifetime of 160 days which means you will be required to change your password again after that duration of time.
