This handbook is intended to convey information about university policy and procedures to our students. Students should also refer to
other university documents like the UHV catalog, class schedules, or university officials for additional information.
Updates and changes are made annually to the handbook. Anyone with suggestions for amending or changing any of the information in this
handbook should make those suggestions in writing to the Senior Director of Student and Academic Services. All proposed changes will be reviewed by the Manager of
Student Services and the Senior Director of Student and Academic Services. The originator may appeal an unfavorable decision to the President; however, the
decision of the President is final. The university reserves the right to make changes to policies and procedures without notice as necessitated by governing
authorities or administrative needs.

the Institutional Research Office.
