POLICY
Abandoned or unclaimed personal property found on the University of Houston-Victoria campus should be turned in to the Campus Security Office, which shall act as custodian of such property.

PROCEDURE
Items unclaimed after a sixty-day period may be:
- Given to a charitable organization.
- Used by any UHV office if that office has a work-related need for such an item.
Any abandoned or unclaimed personal property related to criminal matters or property seized in reference to criminal matters will be disposed of according to law.
