About the UHV Counseling Center

The UHV Counseling Center provides a range of services, including short-term counseling for students, educational programming, consultation, and training programs for student, faculty and staff about campus mental health issues. Our goal is to empower diverse students to be capable and competent adults in managing the multiple, often competing, life situations they will face. We help them build skills to positively affect personal change and enhance quality of life. In doing so, we hope students will be able to take advantage of their educational experience more fully.

Services are free and confidential to students enrolled at any of the UHV campuses.
