OGC Responsibilities
What does the Office of
the General Counsel do once it receives
the request from the Provost or the Director of Business Services?
§May seek clarification
from the requestor.
§May assist the requestor
in narrowing his or her request.
§If e-mailed or faxed,
will inform requestor how to submit a
valid request.
§May contact the UHV
department that likely has access to
the information and ask to compile the information, or provide a time estimate.
We will provide you with a deadline.
§If information does not
meet any exceptions to disclosure,
we will provide the requestor the information, or allow the requestor the opportunity to inspect the records as applicable.
